The Cannondale Six13 Pro 2 (or any of the line of Six13′s for that matter) is a pretty sweet ride. It’s like riding under the wings of an eagle; smooth, responsive, and fast. Those are the feelings I got when riding the Six13 Pro 2 on a test ride this past weekend.

The greatest component of the Six13 also happens to be the most important, and that is the frame.

The Six13 Pro integrates a carbon fiber down tube, placing both light-weight stiffness and road vibration damping in the most critical performance region of the bike. The Pro also utilizes boron near the head tube to provide simultaneous strength and weight-loss.

It is an incredibly well-engineered frame, and offers a comfortably stiff ride; yet it’s still really light.

There is something that impressed me throughout my ride, and that was the responsiveness each time I pushed it hard. It never gave in; it was like there was no loss of energy from my foot to the road.

It’s almost difficult to describe the ride as it was unlike any other bike. It was as near as a perfect bike as I have been given the chance to ride.

The Six13 line of bikes might be out of the price range of some enthusiasts, but they are definitely a joy to ride.
