Spain’s cycling union isn’t ready to just jump aboard the new “biological passport” that  has been proposed without some scientific and legal guarantees to the cycling community.

“Before the implementation of a biological passport and whatever other new method used to detect (positive) tests, all legal and scientific guarantees must be demonstrated to the cycling community,” said the Association of Professional Cyclists’ in a statement released Sunday.

I have a feeling this is just the beginning of folks stepping back and needing more details about the “biological passport” before going ahead with it.
