2008 Viner MaximaViner has launched their 2008 road line of bikes, with a wide range of choices this year. The high-end is a fully customizable carbon model, with the low end not really being that low.

The Maxima 60th Anniversary road frame takes custom carbon to its logical conclusion, with custom tubes and hand made carbon lugs using differing grades and thicknesses of carbon matched to the type of rider you are and the size of bike you want.

It sounds like the goal of this is to make it feel more like a mix of aluminum stiffness, and carbon comfort.

Aside from being available as a custom option, the Maxima frame has a couple of touches that set it apart from the crowd: the integrated seat post goes through the top tube which is chopped in a style reminiscent of old school GT road bikes.

All-in-all the Viner 2008 models look quite impressive for 2008.
