The Fizik (Fi’zi:k) Pak (Pa:k) Gets A Review

Fizik PakThere has been no lack of our love of Fizik products on RC, but this time Bicyling Magazine has some good things to say about Fizik’s new Pak saddle bag.  Similar to Topeak, Fizik has a proprietary bag attachment system and accessories that work with other Fizik products.  This bag is no different.  They currently only have a rear under saddle light, but you can count on more products in the future.  The benefit of Fizik creating their own accessories is that they can build them around their already impressive line of saddles.

Bicycling got their hands on the new saddle bag from Fizik and found it worthy of a Gear of the Day award.  From their review:

The bag itself is also rough enough to handle mountain trails as well as road riding, and the stitching is tough enough to let you overstuff without breaking a seem. In fact, the small bag, properly packed, can fit a mountain tube, CO2 system, multi-tool, tire lever, and car keys. So if all your rigs don Fizik saddles, you’re holding the only bag you’ll ever need.

They even claim that Fizik’s clip system will double as a bottle opener (though it isn’t on the spec sheet).  This may be a saddle that you should check out, especially for you Fizik saddle owners.  At under $25, you can’t go wrong.  Now…if they could only do something about the random punctuation in their product names.
