Bicycling Magazine was treated to a trip to the Mediterranean for an exclusive hands on with Giant’s 2009 road bike lineup.  They went there expecting to see an updated 2009 TCR Advanced SL, but came home with long list of significant upgrades across the entire Giant road bike lineup.  It looks like the OCR line is on the way out, and will be replaced with the Defy line.  From the article:

We had a chance to test ride the TCR Advanced SL, it’s kissin’ cousin the TCR Advanced and the Defy Advanced on a series of test loops around our hotel in Santa Maria today and what probably impressed me the most was the ride quality of all three bikes. The Defy in particular is a very smooth ride, but still completely performance oriented - very much along the lines of our Plush category in Editors’ Choice.
