Trek Madone 6.9 ProRoadcyclinguk.com was able to get their hands on some up-close pictures of Lance Armstrong’s Trek Madone 6.9 Pro, and focus on some details related to the components.  Lance is now using the SRAM RED groupset.

It’s been kitted out with a full SRAM RED groupset – SRAM’s sponsorship of Astana meaning a switch from his long-time allegiance to Shimano’s DuraAce, but Lance appears to be getting used to RED and its DoubleTap shifters. At the heart of the bike is a prototype wireless SRM Powermeter Pro with a new SRM PC VI system…

We’ll see if Lance has enough left to win another Tour de France (or two).  I would say he has a pretty good chance, based on the recent comments by his teammates regarding his fitness levels.
