Fizik (Fi’zi:k) Arione CX Carbon saddle gets reviewed

Fi’zi:k is known for having some pretty good saddles, and the Arione CX Carbon doesn’t disappoint according to Cyclingnews.
The new saddle weighs a slim 149g, and includes the Wing Flex feature found in other Fi’zi:k saddles.  That’s pretty impressive considering everything it includes.

New study shows benefits of “no-nose” saddles for male nether-regions

Treehugger.com does a great job of breaking down a new study which shows a few major benefits of new no-nose saddles (pictured).  They are quick to point out that saddles are not seats, you aren’t meant to sit on them (which we explain in our newbie tip: picking the right saddle).  This generally works for people who are continuously on the move, but for cyclists like bike police who spend much of the time biking slowly, a saddle turns into a seat.

I’ve been trying out some new saddles since Tyler wrote the Newbie tip on picking the right saddle article, and the Fizik Aliante Gamma is the latest I’ve gotten my hands on to take for a test run.
The Aliante is another great saddle from Fizik. I have ridden on the Fizik Arione for years, and I was interested in comparing the two. The Aliante did not dissapoint. The ride was comfortable, and the feel was very familiar. There have been some quality issues with this saddle …
